Vaccination Rate in Sawah Besar Sub-district Touches 76.98 Percent

COVID-19 vaccination program continues to be accelerated in Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta. Based on the latest data, as many as 80,200 residents or 76.98 percent from total target 104,179 residents have been vaccinated. In addition, almost all urban villages in Sawah Besar have been categorized as green zone areas.

Sawah Besar Sub-disrict Head, Prasetyo K. conveyed, tens thousands residents with Jakarta ID cards had taken their first dose across five urban villages in the region. Although, there are still 23,980 residents who haven't been vaccinated because of various things, such as history of illness, changing addresses, moving abroad, and being unknown.

Currently, four of five urban villages in Sawah Besar Sub-district have been categorized as COVID-19 green zone areas, namely Pasar Baru, Kartini, Karang Anyar, and Gunung Sahari Utara Urban Villages. While one urban village is still categorized as yellow zone, namely Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village.
"Hopefully the green zone status can be maintained. We also continue to socialize, educate, and provide more vaccination service centers to accelerate vaccination program," he continued.
Meanwhile, Gunung Sahari Utara Urban Village Head, Hasbulloh stated, currently his area is in green zone status. In order to accelerate vaccination, his side continues to collaborate with hospitals, companies, and political parties to increase vaccination sites in the region.
"We will continue to meet the vaccination target in order to achieve herd immunity," he said.
